Careers

We're a small team. Here's how to get in touch if you'd like to work with us.

Openings

We don't have an opening posted right now. We do keep introductions on file and contact those people first when a role opens.

What we look for

  • Plain talk. You'll explain detailed rules to people who may be worried about money.
  • Honesty about limits. We say what an option won't do, and we say when we don't know.
  • Reliability. Calling back when you said you would matters more than anything on a résumé.
  • Care with privacy. Clients share personal household details with us.

Our advisors don't sell insurance, so no insurance license is required. Training covers direct primary care, health care sharing guidelines and discount plans.

How to introduce yourself

Email contact@affordablehealthcaregeorgia.com with "Careers" in the subject line. Include a short note about your work, your location, and the best way to reach you.

Affordable Healthcare Georgia considers all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Health care sharing
Health care sharing ministries are not insurance and are not regulated as insurance. Sharing of medical expenses is voluntary and not guaranteed. Review each organization's guidelines for details, limitations, and state-specific notices.

Georgia notice (O.C.G.A. § 33-1-20)
Georgia law requires a health care sharing ministry to give this notice on or with its applications and guideline materials: “Notice: The organization facilitating the sharing of medical expenses is not an insurance company, and neither its guidelines nor plan of operation is an insurance policy. Whether anyone chooses to assist you with your medical bills will be totally voluntary because no other participant will be compelled by law to contribute toward your medical bills. As such, participation in the organization or a subscription to any of its documents should never be considered to be insurance. Regardless of whether you receive any payment for medical expenses or whether this organization continues to operate, you are always personally responsible for the payment of your own medical bills.” Health care sharing is not Minimum Essential Coverage.

Direct primary care
Direct primary care is a membership with a primary care practice. Under Georgia's Direct Primary Care Act (2019), a direct primary care agreement is not insurance and is not subject to the state's insurance laws; the agreement must say in writing that it is not health insurance. A DPC membership does not pay for specialists, hospital care or emergencies, and it is not Minimum Essential Coverage.

Discount plans
THIS PLAN IS NOT INSURANCE and is not intended to replace health insurance. A discount plan provides discounts at participating providers and does not make payments to providers; the member pays the discounted fee. Discount plan organization: Careington International Corporation, 7400 Gaylord Parkway, Frisco, TX 75034. Discount plans are not ACA Qualified Health Plans.

How we're paid
